Annual gas appliance servicing is what we recommend and at a minimum, every two years in line with most manufacturers’ guidelines. Gas appliances left unchecked carry a real risk of carbon monoxide exposure.
For appliances we've originally installed in a residential property, we offer a fixed-price servicing plan. Every service includes safety device checks, ignition system testing, gas pressure verification, thermostat calibration and flue inspection where applicable. We clean the appliance thoroughly (removing dust, dirt and soot) and confirm it's operating within safe parameters before we leave.

What Gas Servicing Covers
At a minimum, every gas service we carry out includes the following checks:
- Gas burn settings are correctly adjusted for the appliance type
- The appliance is suitable for the room in which it's installed
- The unit is physically stable, securely fitted and properly connected to gas pipework
- Air supply is adequate and permanent for the appliance type
- Flues and chimneys are clear and operating correctly
- All safety devices are functioning as required
- The condition of seals, gaskets and heat exchangers is assessed, with checks for signs of heat stress or deterioration
- Gas pipework connected to the appliance is pressure‑tested

If more than one gas appliance in your home is due for servicing, we offer a 15% discount when both are done in a single visit. It keeps costs down and means your appliances are current at the same time. Ask us about this when you call. We'll confirm eligibility and factor it into your quote.
- A 'service' applies to a functioning appliance... faulty appliances in need of repair fall outside the scope of these prices. If your appliance is not working, we can inspect and advise the best course of action (charges may apply). Please call our office to discuss 0800 520 400.
- External continuous-flow systems above 3 metres high require scaffolding to service. Additional charges will apply... please call our team on 0800 520 400.
- The prices above apply to appliances that we have originally installed into a residential property and do not include any parts/pipework that may need to be replaced. There will be an additional charge for any parts/pipework and the issuing of a gas compliance certificate, if necessary.
- Pricing for the servicing of central heating systems, commercial gas appliances and appliances that have been originally installed by another company needs to be confirmed on an individual basis.
